While at Blackness Castle, one of the workers asked if we had planned to stop and see Linlithgow Palace. I hadn't anticipated making that stop, as time was short and we had a distance to drive. However, after telling me is was only a 10 minutes drive from where we were, how could we pass up the chance to take a peak?
Turns out, it really is only a 10 minute drive. There weren't many tourists there with us, which is always nice. This is the birthplace of James V and Mary Queen of Scots. We only wandered for about 30 minutes before taking off again. However, it was a beautiful pit stop to make. Enjoy some pictures.
