Isle of Capri - Italy

I've wanted to go to the Island of Capri for a while now. It's only about an hour off the coast of Naples, and the ferries run regularly. As this was my second trip to Naples, I really wanted to pop over to the island and see what it was all about.

We barely caught the morning ferry out to the Island, and it was a pleasant ride out there. It was also fun to be on the water, as I haven't done that in ages. Once we got to the Island, our options were to wander around and do some exploring, or do some boat tours around the Island.

The previous day we had spent hiking around and wandering through the Island of Santorini. My cousin and I wanted to see the island and all that was there, but we also were a little hiked out from all we did on Santorini.

Since we didn't get to do any water stuff over in Greece, we thought we'd start off with a boat tour around the Island, enjoy the water aspect, and then go from there depending on how much time we had left.

The boat tour was a lot of fun. It's such a beautiful island, and the water was just beautiful shades of blue. It's not a huge island, but it's a good sized one, with lots of amazing cliff faces.

After the boat tour, we really didn't have much time to really explore the island before we needed to get on the boat back to Naples. (The original boat we planned to take back was already full, so we had to take an early than anticipated boat back or spend the night on the island with no place to stay).

Sadly we didn't get to see the
actual island. But the boat tour and Blue Grotto was amazing!
